In answer to the questions you raised in our conversation
of 11 February, the following is pertinent: 25X1A
1. The printing cost of the four series of geographic reports
varies considerably with the size, but may be as high as
publication run for the Geographic Memos and no more
for the others. The Map Acquisition List costs about ~a run.

3. The rate of production for the geographic reports varies
considerably with the demand. In 1965, five Memoranda were published,
48 Briefs, 17 Studies, and no Reports. Since much of geographic
production is based upon requests from operational and other consumers,
an attempt to establish a priority of production would not be meaningful.
4. Maps and graphics are being produced at a stadily increasing
rate from about 1750 items in FY6Z to over 3900 in FY65, and the
prospect close to 6000 in FY66.
