25X1A9a 1? reported on last week's ORR Career Service Board
meeting. had developed a document that spelled out his
ideas on requirements for career counselling. The CSB group finally
came up with the idea that each supervisor must understand what are
our objectives in long-range development. A proper career development
program will require the highest type of supervision. The supervisors
must be able to provide proper career guidance to individuals under
their supervision. requested that each Division chief
repare a statement on career development in his Division. This statement
25X1Aa to be sent to by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, 1 March 1955, and
will list major categories of career positions with a statement of
objectives for each category. This statement will show what types of
individuals each Division is trying to develop, types of experience
that would contribute to maximum development of individuals in each
category, and statements of desired performance level for each category.
The Geographic Area should eventually come up with an over-all statement
of career development in the Geographic Area, primarily as an aid to
supervisors.

stereo-maps can be relatively easily prepared and projected.

statement on D/GC maps and it is still O.K., so long as we stamp the
statement on a copies distributed to units outside CIA, State or

the security classification three times on a map instead of twice,
and that we will either have to ccmply or get an exception.
