7. commented that he attended a MINICARD demonstration
at Rochester, New York, last week and that it is a very impressive system.

*8. The group discussed a draft memorandum on announcements of
vacant positions in the Geographic Area. After considerable discussion,
it was decided not to issue at this time a list of vacancies. For
discussion at next staff meeting, will prepare a statement
of policy concerning transfers within the Geographic Area. Such a
statement of policy might be incorporated into the paper on "Career
Development in the Geographic Area".
