1. The subject report was prepared in response to a
request from the DD/I and is forwarded for information only.
2. Information on the hypothetical extent and time of
flooding was taken from a manuscript report and map prepared
at our req-4est by the Military Hydrography Branch of the Corps
of Engineers. The Medicine Division of OSI supplied estimates
of population losses resulting from disease and radioactivity.
3. The principal source materials used by this Office are
listed on pages 8 and 9.
