1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS A SUSPECT INSURGENT SUPPORT FACILITY
NEAR THE CAMBODIA/SOUTH VIETNAM BORDER.
2. LOCATION:
THE FACILITY IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY SEVENTEEN NM SOUTH OF KRATIE
AT UTM XU120490.
3. MISSION READOUT:
COMPRISED OF APPROXIMATELY TWELVE CONCEALED BUILDINGS AND A VEHICLE
TURNAROUND AREA. SIX TRUCKS ARE OBSERVED WITHIN THE IMMEDIATE AREA
AND EXTENSIVE VEHICULAR TRACKING IS NOTED WITHIN THE INSTALLATION.
FOUR SIMILAR INSTALLATIONS (NOT SHOWN ON GRAPHIC) ARE OBSERVED
EAST OF SNUOL (1204N 10626E), ADJACENT TO ROUTES 13 AND 131 AT THE
TERMINUS OF AN UNNUMBERED ROAD, APPROXIMATELY TWO NM NORTH OF THE
CAMBODIA/SOUTH VIETNAM BORDER.
