1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS THE STATUS OF ROUTE 128 ON 15 JUNE 1966.
2. LOCATION:
ROUTE 128 EXTENDS FROM ITS NORTHERN JUNCTION WITH ROUTE 12 AT BAN HANG
KANE AT 1735N 10530E (UTM WE530440) TO ITS SOUTHERN JUNCTION WITH ROUTE 12
AT 1729N 10525E (UTM WE450341).
3. MISSION READOUT:
YANKEE TEAM 323H, 15 JUNE 1966, REVEALS ROUTE 128 TO BE UNGRADED THROUGH-
OUT, AND ALTHOUGH SERVICEABLE, SHOWS LITTLE SIGN OF USE. SCATTERED BOMB
CRATERS IN THE AREA HAVE BEEN BY-PASSED.
ROUTE 12 REMAINS UNSERVICEABLE BETWEEN ITS JUNCTIONS WITH ROUTE 128
BECAUSE OF EXTENSIVE BOMB INTERDICTION.
