Dear Mr. Pardon:
We have, received -ii request from Mr. T. Kelly darles of the U. S. Environmental
Protection Agency to arrange a one clay visit to the WestinchoraEe
in Churchill Borough, Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh) and to the W1~ and altz Millrltcr
Coal Gasification PDU (Pilot Demonstration Unit), for, a group of Russian tech-
nologists who will be visiting in the Pittsburgh area during the period 30 November
to 5 December 1974.
The purpose of this visit would be to exchange technical information of a non-
proprietary nature and to discuss the possibility of long range cooperative
programs in areas of mutual interest. Subjects to be discussed are: coal an;a
oil gasification, h(.lt fuel qa'; Cleaning, and corllbined cycle power gencrati.on,
