would seem to me that the greatest professional satis-
faction by all concerned was their participation in the
ultimate tribute to a professional colleague.
3. So many people were involved distinguishing them-
selves so well that the mentioning of specific names may
not really be fair. I thorou hl a ree, however, with Mr. STATINTL
Bill Nelson singling out From all I have
heard, I believe it might be in order to also single out
of the Office of Security. Personnel of
the Office of Medical Services also deserve individual
recognition, and by agreement with Dr. Rohrer, he will
undertake such recognition.

SUBJECT:
Funeral Arrangements
1. I would like to express my gratitude and admiration for
the outstanding job done by the Directorate of Administration in planning
and implementing the complex arrangements connected with TATINTL
death.
2. I am very much aware of how much effort was made and
how many persons in your Directorate participated. I know that
several elements of the Offices of Security, Personnel and Medical
Services were heavily tasked for support. It is clear from the results
that an excellent job was done. I want to thank
for his skillful and compassionate coordination of the very complicated
arrangements culminating with the funeral at Arlington. I hope you
will convey my appreciation to him and to all the others from your
Directorate who contributed their skills and time in coping with this
tragic event and mitigating the problems of the bereaved family of
