This subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over government informa-
tion matters generally, is considering the degree to which and the
manner in which government agencies (by contract or otherwise) receive
information from certain private entities. Accordingly, we would
appreciate your providing us with the following information:
1) The nature and extent of the relationship or contacts of
the Central Intelligence Agency (or any other element of the United
States intelligence communit with
