Personal Property Claim from

1. The DDA was in receipt of a recommendation from
25X1A
the Claims Review Board addressed to the Inspector General
regarding the personal property claim of Mr.
The Board sought to have the Inspector General substantiate
the validity of the claim. Apparently the Claims Review 25X1A
Board and East Asia Division were unsuccessful in obtaining
sufficient data from Mr. 11111111 Due to the 25X1A
where he was stationed, lost 25X1A
all records which would have been helpful regarding his 25X1A
claim.
25X1A 2. Rather than forward the recommendation to the 25X1A
Inspector General, I discussed the claim with
25X1A and of the IG Staff, as well as Mr.
Chairman, Claims.Review Board. As a result of
that discussion it was agreed that I. would return the claim
to the Claims Review Board with the request that the Board
attempt to identify that portion of the claim. which could
be accepted and we would disapprove the remainder, thus 25X1A
placing the onus on Mr. 111111 to either come up with further
justification or seek appeal through proper channels.
