SUBJECT: Meeting with the Chief, Benefits and Services Division on the
proposed PRS Retirement Study

Chief, Benefits and Services Division
i. Mr. was very happy that the PRS was going to undertake
a study of the retirement picture of the Agency He pledged the full sup-
port of the division to help PRS accomplish the proposed retirement study.
2. Mr, further asked if it wouldbe possible for the PRS
to undertake some studies of workload effects for the Benefits and Services
Division in some of their problem areas such asthe Central Processing
Branch. Mr. - stated that PRS would be able to do some studies in
the near future, but that PBS was under the direction to complete the Ad-
vanced Staffing Plan first, but that PRS would be happy to do what it could.
3. Mr. - asked that Mr. be present at
the weekly staff meeting of the division on Thursday at 2:00 P.M., so that
he could introduce them to the branch chiefs. He felt that such an intro-
duction would help facilitate the branch responses to the proposed studies.
