CONSTRUCTION OF THIS AIRFIELD AND RECENT
AIR TRANSPORT ACTIVITY ON A RELATIVELY
LARGE SCALE IN THE NERCHINSK AREA MAY

2 END-CONNECTING AND 2 CROSSOVER LINKS, AND A PARKING APRON ARE NEARING
COMPLETION. OTHER LANDING FACILITIES INCLUDE A 3,270 X 260 FT NNW/SSE
PROBABLY SERVICEABLE CONCRETE RUNWAY AND A NEW 8,300 X 250 FT N/S
SERVICEABLE NATURAL SURFACE RUNWAY, SUPPORT FACILITIES INCLUDE A POL
STORAGE AREA AND AT LEAST 30 SUPPORT BUILDINGS, THE FIELD IS EQUIPPED
WITH ITS.
