LAUNCH COMPLEX "C": 4118N - 10017E. UNTIL RECEN'T'LY THIS COMPLEX CONSISTID OF A SIlVGLE PAD MEASURING 130 X 80 FT. BETWEEN OCT 64 AND MAR 65, AN EXTENSION MEASURING 50 X 25 FT WAS ADDID TO THE SE CORNER OF THE PAD. IN MAY 66, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW PAD OR HARDSTAND WAS BEGUN JUST OUTSIDE THE SECURID LAUNCH AREA. IN JUL, THE PAD MEASURED APPROXIMATELY 150 X 75 FT AND WAS CONNECTID TO THE OLD PAD BY A ROAD . THIS TOWER MAY ALSO INCORPORATE AN ERECTING MECHANISM WHICH IS CON- NECTED TO THE 65 FT LONG TRENCH TO THE REAR OF THE PAD. AT LEAST 5 BUILD- INKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETID IN THE SUPPORT FACILITIES. IRRIGATION TRENCHES ARE ALSO BEING CONSTRUCTID IN THIS AREA. ANEW TOWER IS LOCATID ON THE APRON ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE ORIGINAL LOOP ACCESS ROAD. THREE VEHICLES ARE LOCATID IN THE LAUNCH AREA AND ~+ VEHICLES ARE ON THE ROAD BETWEEN THE LAUNCH AND CHECK-OUT AREAS.
