1. SIGNIFICANCE: THE LARGE GANTRY AT LAUNCH COMPLEX "B" APPEARS
EXTERNALLY COMPLETE.
2. LOCATION:
SHUANG-CHENG-TZU MISSILE TEST CENTER IS APPROX-
IMATELY 50 NM NE OF SHUANG-CHENG-TZU AT 4107N -
10020E. LAUNCH COMPLEX "B": 4115N - 10018E.
ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION DID NOT PROGRESS PAST THE
LAYOUT AND EXCAVATION STAGE AND THE SITE REMAINED
DORMANT FROM 1962 TO MID 1965. WITH THE RESUMP-
TION OF CONSTRUCTION IN AUG 65, THE SITE IS TAKING
ON AN ENTIRELY NEW CONFIGURATION.

9? MISSION READOUT: CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES AT A RAPID RATE AT LAUNCH
COMPLEX "B". THE GANTRY APPEARS EXTERNALLY COMPLETE AND IS CONSTRUCTED OF
STEEL GIRDERS IN AN OPEN LATTICEWORK PATTERN.
SERVICE ROADS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED BETWEEN THE SECOND RAIL SPUR AND THE
LAUNCH POSITION. CONCRETE HAS BEEN POURED ON THE APPROACH TO THE LAUNCH
THE LAUNCH COMPLEX.
CONSTRUCTION, AND CONSIDERABLE GRADING ACTIVITY ARE VISIBLE THROUGHOUT
WALLS HAVE NOT BEEN BACK-FILLED. SEVERAL OPEN TRENCHES, BUILDINGS UNDER
POSITION AND THE FLAME PIT NOW APPEARS TO BE COVERED OVER, BUT THE SIDE
