ONE HALF OF THE SSE ANTENNA FACE IS NOW COVERED
WITH FACING MATERIAL, AND NEWLY IDENTIFIED CABLE
CONDUITS ARE OBSERVED LEADING FROM THE CONTROL
BUILDING TO THE REAR OF EACH OF THE ANTENNA FACES.
THIS PHASED-ARRAY RADAR, DESIGNATED "DOG HOUSE",
IS THE ONLY ONE OF ITS DESIGN OBSERVED IN THE
USSR, AND IS BELIEVED TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE
FIVE PROBABLE ABM LAUNCH COMPLEXES UNDER CON-
STRUCTION AROUND MOSCOW AT SAM SITES E05-1, E15-1,
E24-1, E31-1, AND E33-1.

FACE, ALTHOUGH THE LARGE RAIL-MOUNTED CRANE IS STILL POSITIONED NEAR
THE CORNER OF THE STRUCTURE. THERE MAY BE, HOWEVER, CONTINUING ACTIVITY
ON THIS FACE AS EVIDENCED BY THE FACT THAT THE CRANE HAS TRAVERSED THE
FACE BETWEEN 15-19 MAY. APPROXIMATELY ONE HALF OF THE SSE ANTENNA IS NOW
COVERED BY FACING MATERIAL. THE LARGE RAIL-MOUNTED CRANE IS POSITIONED
NEAR THE CENTER OF THE ANTENNA FACE. A LARGE AMOUNT OF CONSTRUCTION MATE-
RIAL IS PRESENT IN THE STORAGE AREA IN FRONT OF THE SSE FACE. WHAT MAY BE
TWO CABLE CONDUITS ARE OBSERVED LEADING FROM THE L-SHAPED CONTROL BUILDING
TO THE REAR OF EACH OF THE ANTENNA FACES. A NEW BUILDING IS OBSERVED UNDER
CONSTRUCTION WEST OF THE ANTENNA STRUCTURE.
