The series is being coordinated, published. and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being p rformed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Pla (DIA). Area D2 contains 3 U-shaped, multistory administration buildings, 1 T-shaped, sin,le- story administration building, 9 single-story barracks, and 1 single-story support building. Area D3 contains 64 small housing units and 18 small support buildings. W KEYHOLE missions covered the area between The level of activity appears to be generally high, with some increase during the summer months. Changes were minor and consisted mainly of the addition'of a few permanent-type buildings and growth of the dependents housing area along the river..- This installation appears to have been a tent cantonment area for summer train- ing, and has gradually evolved into a permanent, all-season training facility. Many of the old bases no longer appear to be in use. r Area D4 contains 3 U-shaped, multistory bar-racks/administration buildings, 1 T-shaped, multistory administration building, 5 multistory barracks, 1 heating/powerplant with a tall smokestack, 57 single-story. housing units, and 4 single-story support buildings. Area D5 contains 4 barracks/administration buildings, 4 support buildings, and 1 security building. Area D6 contains 57 single-story housing units (probably dependents housing), 3 single- story administration buildings/barracks, 3 sin- gle-story storage buildings, and 1 multistory administration building which is fenced and has the appearance of a school. The entire area appears non-military. Area D7 . contains approximately 200 tent bases. I The area is partially obscured by trees. Permanent support buildings normally associated with a tent cantonment area are not present. Area D8 contains 3 single-story barracks, 1 T-shaped, single-story administration build- ing, and -4 single-story support buildings (2 fenced). Outside the fence there are 2 warehouses, 2 barracks/ administration buildings, and 2 sup- port/security buildings. Area E2 is fenced and contains 5 small storage buildings. Miscellaneous unidentified material_is visible in open storage. Area G is fenced and contains 5 revetments for POL drum (50-100 gal) storage, 2 mounded probable buried tanks, and 1 support building. There is also a small POL tank farm along the railroad between Totskoye and Kiroanovka. Area U12 is fenced and contains a heating/ owerplant with a smokestack. Area H1 contains 1 barracks/administration building. The area is fenced and is a possible stockade. Area H3 contains 3 .support buildings and a probable water.-Itbwer. - Equipmen_ Storage/Maintenance Areas Area J1 is secured and contains a 2,000- by 1,200-foot motor' pool, 10 vehicle storage buildings (one 500 by 50 feet, five 250 " by 50 feet, and four 180 by 35 feet), four 100- by 35- foot vehicle maintenance buildings, and 3 sup- port buildings. Approximately 200 vehicles and 50 artillery pieces were observed parked in the open o photography. Area J2 contains a 1,000- by 450-foot motor pool, 4 vehicle storage buildings (one 250 by 50 feet and three 150 by 50 feet), one 75- by 50-foot vehicle maintenance building, and 3 support buildings. Area J3 contains four 100- by 35-foot vehicle maintenance buildings and ,1 single- story administration building. Area J4 contains a 900- by 750-foot motor pool (fenced with a separate corridor along the east side), 5 vehicle storage buildings (two 200 by 50 feet and three 150 by 50 feet), and 6 support buildings. Tanks, towed artillery, and 100-125 vehicles were observed on -photography. Area J5 contains a 4,500= by 900-foot vehicle parking area and an H-shaped administration building. There are no vehicle storage/main- tenance facilities in the area. Area J6 contains a 1,000- by 450-foot motor - pool, six 150- by 50-foot-vehicle storage build- ings, and a 100- by 35-foot vehicle maintenance. building.
