This report is one in a series on Soviet. Ground Force and.Logistie
installations being prepared for a. DIA/CIA Panel. The series _is being
coordinated, published. and `disseminated by NPIC. .The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production
Center 1Pla (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular{ re-

In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing: in the project requirement. When a specific facility is,not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and letter designators- for the various facilities are as

Kolomna -Ammunition Depot West-Southwest
is located 14 kilometers (km) 'southwest of
Kolomna (Figure 1).
The installation covers 'approximately 580
acres and consists of a double-secured storage
area and a support area. The storage, area
contains 32 ammunition storage buildings, a
rail-to-road transfer building, and ' 1 support
building.- The support area contains 27 quar-
ters, 13 support buildings, and an athletic field
(Figures 2 and 3).

The installation appeared active on all coverage
and no changes were observed.
DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION
A . spur from Kolosnna-Ozery rail line
serves the installation.,
A` secondary road connects the installation
to Kolomna.
Administration and Troop Housing Area
Area D contains 27 quarters and 13 support
buildings.
Area F is doubly secured and contains 32
ammunition storage buildings, 1 support build-
ing, and 1 rail-to-road transfer building.
Area K?is'an athletic field.
