fixed field site is situated 6.8 nm -north-
northwest of Launch Area No 3, 11.8 nm
north-northwest of Launch Area No 2, and
13 nm north-northeast of Launch Area No 1.
The fixed field site (Figure 2) consists-
of four elongated padlike clearings, aligned
in a direction approximately the same as that
of the two soft sites. . These clearings are

arranged on a U-shaped road network with
another clearing positioned at the curve. No
erectors or activity are discernible at the site.
The nearest rail siding is located" at Bor-
kovichi, 7.7 nm to the south. This siding ap-
pears to serve the three associated launch
areas as well. All are connected to the
siding by good roads.
