S ) TOP SECRET RUF Handle Vi a TALENT-KEYHOLE Control System Only TOP SECRET RUFF Handle Via TALENT-KEYHOLE Control System Only An airborne military, installation, located on the west side of Chortkov (Figure 1), covers approximately 260 acres, is road served, and has rail access. 0 The major structures found within the area (Figures 2 and 3) are 14 multistory barracks, three barracks, five multistory administrative buildings, 15 administrative buildings, two vehi- cle maintenance buildings, four vehicle storage buildings, one possible vehicle storage building, 22 storage buildings, two possible storage build- ings, two ammunition storage buildings, one possible ammunition storage building, and 36 support buildings. Training facilities include two athletic TCS-7315/64 NPIC/R-580/64 fields, two small-arms ranges, one probable free-fall jump tower, one probable jump tower, nine probable mock-up cargo-type planes, four possible mock-up trainer-type planes, andthree empty emplacement pads. The installation is active and little change 25X1 D has been noted since however, increasing improvement in the quality of photog- raphy shows buildings which are not new but which could not be previously identified on earlieotography. KEY- The tristallation was covered by HOLE 'missions between Railroad Service The installation has rail access to the single-track Buchach-Chortkov rail line. Road Service The installation is served by all-weather roads. Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area D1 contains five multistory barracks, two barracks, two multistory administrative buildings, two administrative buildings, one storage building, and eight support buildings. Area D2 contains three multistory barracks, two multistory administrative buildings, one storage building, and 10 support buildings. Area D3 contains six multistory barracks, one barracks, one multistory administrative building, eight administrative buildings, four storage buildings, and 11 support buildings. IQ D General Storage Areas Area El, a secured open storage area, contains one administrative building. Area E2, a secured= open storage area, contains three storage buildings. Area E3 contains one administrative build- ing, seven storage buildings, and one support building. Ammunition Storage Areas Area F1 contains one administrative build- ing, one 85- by 40-foot ammunition storage building, and one 40- by 40-foot ammunition storage building. Area F2 contains one 95- by 35-foot possible ammunition storage building. Other Buildings or- Structures Area HI is a probable free-fall jump tower with one support building. Area H2 contains one administrative build- ing, one storage building, nine probable mock- up cargo planes, four possible mock-uptrainer- type planes, and three empty placement pads. A H3 is 'a probable jump tower.
