Baranovichi Petroleum Storage Air Force
Reserve is located (Fitiure 1) in the southeast
edge of Baranovichi (553-OSN 026-OIL). The
installation is served by three spurs from the
Baranovichi-Luninets rail line and has access
to the cite of Baranovichi and Baranovichi Air-
field via an all-weather road. Baranovichi
:Army Barracks l=ast is located 0.5 kilometers
(km) west on the opposite side of the rail line.
Baranovichi Army Barracks Southwest is lo-
cated 6 km west of the FOL depot.
The installation consists of t\+o areas
(Figures 2 and 3), the larger of which covers
approximately 160 acres and the .smaller 11b
acres. The large area is secured and contains
23 vertical earth-covered POL tanks and 14
support buildings; the smaller secured area,
contains 11 vertical POL tanks and four sup-
port building. A probable double pipeline con= 25X1 D
nects th, larger area with Baranovichi Airfield.

of usage between
Since _ three large and one medium-size
tanks have been built in the larger area and two

Three spurs from the sin= 1e track Bara-
novichi-Luninets rail line serve the installa-
tion. The north spur forms a fork and serves
the north part of the depot. I he center spur
serves the 19 large and four medium .size tanks.
The south spur serves a separate area which
contains 11 small tanks.
The installation is served by an all-~~eather
access road which connects the POL dump with
the street system of Baranovichi and the Bara-
novichi Airfield.

Area G1 (Figure 3) contains 23 vertical
tanks--10 are 00 feet in diameter and four 25X1D
are 60 feet. These tanks were in the process
of being earth covered in M and as of
all were earth covered. Three 25X1 D
large tanks and one smaller tank have been
added since Area G2 contains 11 vertical
tanks--five 25 feet, one 40 feet, and
feet in di~_meter. Two tanks have been
added sing.
