1. This memorandum is in response to the above referenced requirement
requesting a detailed photo analysis, using comparative photo coverage, of
the PEI-HAI Port Facilities, China (21o27'Iv/109o03'E).

2. An analysis of photo mission the only 25X1D
available photo coverage of PEI-HAI, revealed the port facilities consisting
' of three POL storage tanks, a quay, a "T" head pier, numerous warehouses and
facilities for the construction and repair of small craft. The "T" head
pier extends 55 feet into the harbor and has 65 feet of berthing space across
the head of the rrT" The pert area does not appear to be expanding, as no
I construction activity was noted. All vessels in the port area are either
junks or barges.
