SUBJECT: Search for AE Activity, Bohunice, Czechoslovakia

1. Since the previous memorandum (IC4 PID/ABCB 159/63, 25 July
1963) on Bohunice Czechoslovakia, which was based on a search of
25X1 D ALE mission the only mission over the
25X1 D area was KEYHOLE miss on A search of
this mission revealed that the town of Bohunice and vicinity is
cloud covered. Only a few small clear areas exist and these are
around the town of Jablonica, 48-36N 17-26E, about 11 nautical miles
(nm) NW of Bohunice. A search of these clear areas revealed no
indication of the existence or construction of a nuclear power sta=
tion. It is recommended that when new coverage of Bohunice becomes
available another search of the area should be made.
