1. This memorandum is in response to the above referenced requirement
requesting a study of the number and type of locomotives and cars in the rail-
road yards at Lan-Chou, China (36-o3N 103-50E).
2. The location of all railroad yards is shown on enclosure CIA/PID/IB-
P-111/64. The numbers used to designate the yards are the same as those used
in the attached table.
Lan-Chou since the original railroad yard stu was completed by the Industrial
Branch, PID (IB-278/63). Only film from was used in the final analysis,
as film from - was inadequate for this type of detailed photo interpretation.
