SUBJECT: Request for Graphics and Equipment Interpretation, SAM
Sites in Indonesia

1. This memorandum is in response to your requirement dated 6 December
1963 requesting photographic prints of certain SAM sites, and equipment
interpretation of the Kampung site in Indonesia.
2. Attached herewith are one each 8 x 11 and 9 x 18 prints of the
following listed graphics coveripag the specified SAM sites.
a. Bogor, Mission Lead Seat
The Kampung SAM site is a completed six position SA2 site with double
fence security. All revetments are occupied and three missiles are on the
launchers. Guidance revetment is occupied by fan song radar, and. two large
and two amsl trailer vans. Cable scars from guidance area to launchers are
visible. Three empty hold revetments-with bunkers are located outside of ring
road. Six transporters with canvas covered missiles, parked adjacent to a
probable vehicle storage building within the. secured area. Two additional
transporters, with canvas covered missiles, are located adjacent to a probable
vehicle storage building in the support area. The support area consists of
the two previously mentioned probable vehicle storage buildings, two small
possible storage buildings, and. ten additional buildings, probably for adminis-
tration and personnel.
