The depressed area on the aftermost one-third of this ship is no longer visible (see annotation 10,1 Two rectangular openings are visible on the flat deck aft of the superstructure. One of these open- ings is positioned approximately 65' from the stern just to starboard of the .-centerline and. Uhe other is located just to port of the center- line absft the superstructure. The dimensions of these openings are approximately 35' by 15' with the long dimension parallel to the center- line. The superstructure and stack are in place. Two probable armament platforms are visible forward of the superstructure on the centerline with tha aftermost platform considerably higher than the forward platform. Each of the platforms has a cluster of four holes arranged in somewhat o[' a "clover-leaf" pattern. Shoring is evident along this vessel's port sile. Possibl? POLTAVA/PEREKOP Class merchant ship under construction on build- ing way (LOA of completed section approx 380'). See annotation 9. Unidentified ship under construction on building way (LOA of completed st,ction approx j001). This building way was Previously occupied by an TJG.RA Class AS. This section is on the same building way as the possible POLTAVA/PEREKOP at annotation 2 above ens is quite similar in appearance. LAMA Class AEM (LOA approx 3701 in fitting-out slip. This fitting-out slip was previously occupied by two probable LAMA Class 6. New class naval ship at fitting-out quay (LOA approx 6201). The openings in the deck discussed in annotation 1 above are not apparent. on this, the first, unit of this class. The forward part of the ship is so cluttered the probable armament platforms seen on the second unit (annotation 1 above) could not be identified. A floating crane is working off the ship's starboard side abeam of where the probable armament platforms should be located. 25X1 7. UGRA Class AS (LOA approx 1+70') alongside :fitting-out quay. Hull outline, stack, and superstructure placement as well as length confirmed this identification. A probable UGftA Class AS was seen on the building way at annotation 8, 8. POLTAVA/PEREKOP Class merchart ship at fitting,-out quay (LOA approx 510') See annotation 3, 9. Probable DNEPR Class AR (LOA approx 370'). Superstructure and stack placement along with the bow lift extension contributed to this evaluation. 10. Two MAYAKOVSKIY Class Fish Factory Ships (LOA approx 275') at fitting- out quay. 11. Floating crane working in the area of the quay extension project. 12. MAYAKOVSKIY Class Fish Factory Ship whirr appears about to be launched. 13. Floating dock. This dock is used to launch vessels produced in the long construction hall.
