Large unidentified combatant, probably of a new class, Med-moored at the east end of the fitting-out basin (visible LOA at least 510'). Bow and stern end-points are not clearly defined. See annotation 1, 2. Possible KASHIN Class DLG Med-moored near the east end of the fitting- out basin (LOA approx. 1+70') Due to the contrast of the photography and the shadows in the area, of the quay, the stern of this ship cannot be distinguished. Topside configuration contributes to the identification of this ship. See annotation 2, 3. Possible KASHIN Class DLG Med-moored in the fitting-out basin (LOA approx. 1+70'). There is no evidence visible to suggest that the hull seen under construction in this position on the previous coverage ha.s been launched. The ice in the launch basin is unbroken and no additional vessel of that size (approximately 480 feet less bow section) is visible in the fitting out basin. NOTE: All measurements have been made by the CIA/IAD project analyst.
