TRAFFIC COUNT ON THE CHENG CHOU-PING HSIANG
RAILROAD, CHINA
This report of traffic on the Cheng Chou-Ping Hsiang Railroad is limited
to a 100 nm segment between 26 24N - 111 28E and 26 55N - 112 36E (Figure 1)
because of lack of photo coverage. This report is one of a series and should
be compared with a previous level of traffic established by CIA/FIR-65040.
In this study a count of freight cars observed in the Heng Yang yard
(26 54N - 112 ?(E) was made. In addition, a count of all trains observed
on the rail line was recorded, along with the location, type, speed, direction
and number of cars. This information is presented in Table I. An annotated
map (Figure 2) is included showing the location of each train observed.
