1. This memorandum responds to a NSA request for photographic
confirmation of the height finding/direction finding (HF/DF) antenna
facilities reported to be located near Brest and Kiev, USSR, and a
description of the HF/DF facilities, related communications facilities,
and related support facilities.
2. Three facilities were confirmed on high-resolution photography
as follows:

This facility is located approximately 15 nm northeast of
Kiev, USSR. It consists of a standard FIX 24 HF/DF antenna and a support
area approximately 0.5 nm south of the FIX 24 antenna. The support area
contains at least ten buildings. No communications antennas were observed
in the vicinity of the FIX 24 antenna or the support area.
3. This project is considered complete and any further inquiries
should be directed to NPIC/IEG/SD/EB, IDS Code 143,
