Brest SAM Complex A03-5 is newly identified in an early stage of
construction on photography of - approximately 9 nn NNE of Brest and 25X1D
approximately 11 nm NE of the Polish border. The complex is oriented SW
and is at a ground elevation of about 500 feet.
At present it consists of two launch sites (designated Sites B and C),
a tracking/guidance facility, a possible support area, and a launch area
main road. The road, which connects Sites B and C, continues beyond Site
B, possibly indicating that a third launch site is planned.
The complex can first be observed on the - coverage. The most 25X1D
recent photography on which there is no evidence of it is Mission
