Approved For Release 2002/01/02 : CIA-RDP78T04759A007300010056-6 Handle Via Approved For Release 2 0 ~tt Rif T04759A00730001005 -6 TCS- 0561/67 Talent-KEYHOLE Control System Only September 1967 25X1 D Angarsk Probable Long Range SAM Launch Complex USSR 52-42N l04-02E REFERENCES 25X1A The Angarsk Probable Long Range SAM (PLRS) Launch Complex is located approximately 11 nautical miles (nm) NNE of Angarsk. The complex presently consists of 3 launch sites, a tracking/guidance facility, a support facility, and a missile-handling facility. An air-warning radar facility is under construction 4.5 nm SSE of the launch complex. Construction of launch positions and a control center is underway at the launch sites. The tracking/guidance facility consists of 3 radar mounds and the complex control center. At least 4 buildings are in an early stage of construction in the support facility. North of the complex 4 barracks-type buildings and a number of other structures comprise an additional support facility. Construction of the 2 missile assembly/checkout buildings is underway at the missile-handling facility. A possible construction site for a missile/ missile component storage building is located east of the facility. The air-warning radar facility consists of 4 radar mounds and a control building. Orientation of the complex is approximately 355 degrees and it lies at an elevation of approximately 1,800 feet.
