The Tyuratam Probable Long Range SAM Launch Complex is located approximately
10 nautical miles NNW of Tyuratam. The secured complex is in an early stage
of construction and consists of 3 launch sites and ~ tracking guidance
facility. The launch sites are in a very early stage of construction, activity
being limited to the central control position. Construction of the launch
area main road is the only other activity observed in the area. At the
tracking guidance facility initial grading for 3 radar mounds and the central
control position is observed.
No support facilities are discernible.
Orientation of the complex is approximately 120 degrees and it is situated
approximately 300 feet above mean sea level.
