since 1944 at Kherson Petroleum Refinery., USSR.
The Kherson Petroleum Refinery is located approximately one mile northwest
of Kherson, a river port situated 15 miles upstream from the mouth of the Dneipero
The. photography covering this installation is on the oblique at small scale and
hazy, not permitting detailed interpretation. However, the following items of
interest are noted:
1.
Three new large storage tanks., approximately ioo _'eet in diameter.,
been added to the five similar tanks in the north section of the
refinery.
Ten new small storage tanks have been added in the northeast section
of the refinery, mak3kng a total of 19 small storage tanks of varying
capacity in this area.
Some unidentified constructio'h.activity appears to be currently in
in the east central section of the refinery area.
