ORR REQUIREMENT NO. RR/HTA/,E/R19/56: Report changes since 1944 in Leningrad
Radio Plant 619. Describe antenna structure on the roofs, radar
trailers in the plant area, or any other indication of the type of
electronic equipment produced in this plant.
Radio Plant 619, located on Petrovskiy Island in NW Leningrad, has undergone
expansion since 19lth. Two new buildings, 701x 200' and 70'x 160', have been
constructed in the E section of the plant. (See accompanying photograph.)
The small scale of the photography precludes a description of antenna
structure or any other indications of the type of electronic equipment produced
at this plant. In an open area near the center of the plant are several stored
vehicles which might possibly be small trailers or mobile units associated with
electronic equipment.
Immediately west of Radio Plant 619 in a large open area is a 500' high mast.
A transmitter building and a few small buildings are located near its base.
