The Leningrad Aircraft Repair Plant 458 is located in the NW outskirts of Leningrad, adjoining, and just S of, the Leningrad/Kolomyagi Airfield. This major aircraft re facility has changed considerably since it was 25X1D photographed in The overall plant area presently measures approximately 3000'x 7001. The eastern half of the plant is the work shop section, while the western half is composed of storage buildings. In the workshop section of the plant, the large probable fuselage repair shop (420'x 350'), almost completely des- troyed during World War II, has been reconstructed. A workshop (270'x 100'), formerly located just east of the probable fuselage repair shop, has beer removed. In the storage section of e plant, only 8 out of 25 storage buildings (100'x 50') present in i still remain. 25X1D During World War II a secondary section of this plant was located just west of the main plant across a small SO' wide stream. This secondary section occupied an area measuring 1700'x 4001 and contained several storage buildings and open storage areas. There was a bridge across the stream and a good direct road connection between the two sections of the plant. This former section of the plant appears to be no longer associated with the aircraft repair plant. The storage buildings and bridge have been removed and the road has been abandoned. DOCUMENTNO.
