ORR REQU IT NO. RR/HTA/E/R90/56: Determine changes since 19Iilt in the physical
layout of the Baturin Chemical Plant, Ivanovo, USSR.
The following changes in the Baturin Chemical Plant have taken place since
1944. (See accompanying annotated photograph.)
1. Six reported sulfuric acid production buildings have been removed
from the north central section of the plant. Only the original. tall
stack remains standing. Two other small buildings in this section
have been removed.
2. Twelve new buildings have been constructed which include one
probable processing building (55'x 65'), five probable storage
buildings of various sizes (25'x--130'-to Ii5'x 130'), and six
miscellaneous small buildings,
3. One processing building, doubled in size, now measures 185'x SOt.
A 45'x 55' addition has been made to another processing building.
1. Three storage tanks, 25' in diameter., have been added to the plant.
