OSI REQUIREMENT HTA/SI/R-21456: To search for stockpiles of completed weapons stored
in the vicinity of the Feodosiya Torpedo Plant "Dalyni Kamyshi", reportedly
one of the biggest producers of torpedoes in the USSR. Also to report any
indications of plant expansion,with general dimensions.
REMARKS
No stockpile of torpedoes was found. Photographic evidence does not confirm the
production of torpedoes at this installation. The plant appears to be engaged in the
production of small naval patrol craft. Since World War II, a boat basin, (3)40'x L00'),
ha.s beenconstructed adjacent to the main plant building (430'x 300'). In the vicinity
of the plant are 18 small craft, 601 long, in. various stages of construction. Six
similar craft and 3 probable PT boats, 85' long, are afloat in the boat basin.
