A cement plant has been constructed since World War II, on a site 22
miles south of the center of Miskolc and 1900' west of the main Budapest to
Miskolc railroad.
The plant area is rectangular in shape, measuring 1500' by 2000'.
Plant facilities include 8 sludge storage silos, 4 finished-product silos
and several processing buildings. It is rail-served by a spur line.
Raw material enters the plant by means of an overhead transporter
system which runs from a new quarry 4700' WSW of the plant.
