LOCATION:
28 nm north-northwest of reference point, just north of Kochugino.
FUNCTION:
One of a group of sites deployed for the defense of Moscow.
SITE STATUS:
Complete and operational.
REMARKS:
The photography listed below confirms the existence and location of
Herringbone SAM Site C-33 on the inner defense ring. Visible
service roads indicate that the site probably has 60 launch points.
The YO-YO radar and housing facilities usually associated with
these sites were not covered on this photography.
