US Air Target Chart, Series 100, Sheet 0232-1248-100A, 1st ed (Prov), May 56, scale 1:100,000 (S) A fence-enclosed communications site covering approximately 75 acres is located at 48?31'N/17?43'E, 0.5 nautical miles north of Vel'ke Kostolany, Czechoslovakia (see Figure 1). The site, which is road served, contains a control building and seven support buildings having a total roof area of 35, 800 square feet. The site has five .rhombic antennas (items 1-5, Figure 2)', two guyed vertical radiators (items 6 and 7), and two self-supporting towers (items 8 and 9). Of the two guyed vertical radiators, one (item 6) is 380 feet high and the other (item 7), 290 feet high. The two self-supporting towers (items 8 and 9) are 240 feet high and are 400 feet apart. Three possible tuning houses are located in line between the two self-.supporting towers. Each rhombic antenna has a dissipation line, indicating a transmitting capability. Data on the rhombics are given in the following table (antenna numbers are keyed to Figure 2).
