The situation remains quiet on both fronts and no reports of cease-fine
violations have been received for January 23.
Two minor incidents involving machine gun fire were reported on the Syrian
front on January 22. One incident involved Syrian forces, but the forces involved
in the other incident were not identified by the UN observers. No incidents were
noted on the Egyptian front on January 22.
Supply convoys to Suez City and the Egyptian Third Army proceeded without
incident on January 22.
