SUBJECT: Briefing of Congressional
Committee Staff Delegation

I was asked by Jan Berris, Program Director for the
National Committee on United States-China Relations, to
brief the Congressional Committee Staff Delegation that
is going to China. I cleared the briefing with 25X
of the Office of Legislative Counsel.
The briefing was held on Monday, June 21 in the
Rayburn House Office Building. A list of those attending
is attached. The briefing went quite well, the staff
members who are going were interested and had made quite
an effort to prepare themselves for the trip.
