THROUGH Executive Director, NPIC
SUBJECT : Publications Division Report for May 1962
1. The division processed 54 documents in May, including 18 detailed
reports, 5 mission coverage-indexes, 10 pre-mission coverage indexes, 8
mission coverage plots, 5 technical publications, 4 situation summaries,
-and 4 listings of various types. These were all NPIC products, except
for one CIA publication. Corrections to 3 NPIC publications were also
issued.
2. The items listed in paragraph one contained 1458 pages. This is
an increase of 194 percent over the April 1962 production and a 244 percent
increase over that of May 1961.
3. The 54 publications issued in May contained 147 illustrations.
In addition, the division produced 10 annotated photos, 2 line drawings,
4 perspectives, 10 forms and charts, 6 mosaics, 9 overlays, 14 vu-graphs,
31 new briefing boards and 5 revised ones, one- special cover) and mis-
cellaneous graphical jobs for NPIC components.
5. A graphic representation of division production is appended to
this report.
