SUBJECT: A-2 Configuration Photography
1. In our opinion the quality and dependability of the A-2
24", 9 x 18" format camera has been without precedent in
photographic reconnaissance operations. It has consistently
delivered image quality unexcelled by any other equivalent
photo-collection systems on which we have any data.
Z. Ample evidence of its superb image forming
characteristics are shown in the attached sample, a 7X
enlargement. Even though field processing has caused the film
to be marked with water spots and scratches, the fineness of
detail available for analysis is readily apparent.
