Subject: Contract Retractable Power Cord for M LI 1540 Light Table
Gentlemen:
Confirming our recent discussions, I agrees to provide modifi-
cation kits for an improved retractable power cord for th:e LT 154.0 at no additional
cost to the Governmen+, with the Government providing the necessary services and
simple tools to install these improved cords on a field retrofit basis. Specifically,
this includes the following:
I. lmprovec three-wire retractable power cord operable in the retracted
or extended condition. in'the fully retracted condition it will operate
within ratings in an ambient up to 8O?F; when partially retracted, it
will stand higher ambient. The cord will have pigtail leads on both
ends, for hookup to the table and the 3-prong,;- plug.
Appropriate mounting hardware for re-placing existing retractable cord
unit wish that described in (1) above.
3. Written instructions and simple installations aids as required to allow
the Government to accomplish field retrofit.
Return of all replaced cord units by the Government to
FOB point at Los Angeles facility.
if you concur with this matter, we will proceed to provide the appropriate retrofit
kits as soon as practicable .
