Gentlemen:
There is attached an ACDA Request for a Proposal which
has been sent to certain prospective contractors. From our
earlier conversations it is understood that two of your
contractors also have the capability for
performing th is work. You have indicated that you are willing
tc have these organizations perform this work if they so
desire. Following up on this, it will be appreciated it you
will forward the enclosed material to the appropriate officials
at for their consideration and proposal tgr
possible additional procurement under existing CIA contracts.
Since we must make award during this fiscal year we have
established a relatively short date for receipt of the pro-
posals. They are due by close of business on June 11, 1970.
We, therefore, enlist your help in seeing to it that this
material is forwarded expeditiously. A copy of any proposal
they submit to you is to be sent by them directly to
at the address indicated in the attached material.
If after evaluation of all proposals, either
is selected, we under0tand that you are amenable
to including the required work as a separate task amendment
to one of your contracts with the successful proposer. In
such event, a new reimbursable agreement or amendment to
an existing reimbursable agreement will be issued to cover
the transaction.
