SUBJECT: BRASS KNOB Coverage of Cuba
1. Attached are the following:
a. a table showing BRASS KNOB coverage of the COMOR
Highest Priority Targets for Cuba during 1 - 19 June.
b. a table showing BRASS KNOB coverage of all COMOR
targets during the same period.
c. a map showing the locations a the COMOR targets with
arrows indicating those not covered during 13 - 19 June.
2. During 13 - 19 June, 10 BRASS KNOB missions were flown,
and 85 percent of the total land area of Cuba was covered by photo-
graphy with 25 percent or less cloud cover. This degree of coverage
represents a marked improvement over that of the previous 7-day
period, during which the weather was unusually poor and 40 COMOR.
targets were not adequately. covered. During 13 - 19 June, in spite
of cancellation of missions on the 15th and an uncompleted mission on
the 19th, only 9 of the COMOR targets were not covered.
