Dear John,
Contract:
September 22, and have executed it and returned it. It
covers the period from July 1, 1964, through June 30,
1965. Enclosed for your information is a copy of my
transmittal letter.
I received the contract for FY 65 services on Tuesday,
The statement of work requires that reports be submitted
in five copies. I discussed this with Bill G. and he
says the five copies should be sent to the Contracting
Officer who will then forward copies to you. This is a
change from previous requirements in which I sent one or
two copies directly to you. Henceforth I will send five
copies as directed unless you and Bill G. get together
and decide you want it done differently.
Lasers for Measurement
John R. and I discussed this subject yesterday and he
is quite concerned over the application of lasers to
measuring engines. He would like a literature search
performed and an analysis of the limitations of lasers
for submicron measuring. I told him it could probably
be done under Task II of our contract, and I would write
it up for your consideration.
W.D.C. Trip
I'm still planning on scheduling a trip to your office
for the week of October 11 to 17. Is this still good
timing?
