Approved For lease 2005/11/21 : CIA-RDP78B0477,002900020014-5 May 8, 1965 TAT PROCESSOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM The visit by in April was much appreciated by the people. They were happy to have the opportunity-to review the effort to date and confirm the direction of the effort for the future as outlined in their reports and proposals. The clean room is still in final check out b STAT and has not been bought off by as a STA withhold on the contract w is ey will not pay until the room is accepted. The only point of contention now is the tem erature and humidity control. STAT Is insisting that meet the specification of + 2?F temperature control and 45% relative humidity control before they will accept the room. Apparently the commercial controllers used are not adequate. The room itself is very well done and in excellent shape. In discussions as to wheth he HTA/5 should be in- STAT stalled in the clean room, "agreed to install those parts of the machine they will need and use for their investigation program. The possibility of there being available some GFE equip- ment such as an Image Quality Meter and a 4" x 5" chip processor was of great interest to =as it would materially assist their investigations. They, of course, are interested only in-items useful in the program and not just any surplus equipment. The investigative program is continuing and some techni- cal re orts will be forthcoming on com leted tasks. STAT stated that will be moving STAT ermanently in the latter part of May. STAT operation will continue however STAT principally on manufacture of production machines. This operation can continue without II and why do production when all the production cilities are STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT Approved For Release 2095/11/21 : CIA-RDP78B04770A002900020014-5
