I receive your letter of May 27th regarding the work of
t. the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His work is
cerzaln, re even to our field of endeavor, particularly in'the
data link category.
Several people on our staff are familiar with his work and
have visited with in the past although we have made no
recent contacts watn um. s a result of your letter I have advised
our people who have contracts to monitor in that area to be sure
and visit the Jet Propulsion Lab andi occasionally to keep
abreast of the work that he is doing. I believe this will be
adequate contact for the time being. If circumstances should change
so that we feel that it is necessary for you to supplement our visits,
I will let you know. as soon as this occurs Thanks for the reminder.
