SUBJECT: Lamination of Glass Slides
TASKiFRQBL~T
Develop an inexpensive piece of equipment andfor technique
to laminate or mount film to prevent buckling when used with a Tele-
pror-~ter projector.
The equipment and procedures to coat and cement film slides
to a glass plate has been completed by Department 180.
Completed ha.rd.wa.re is being made ready for movement to
Department ~b9 for evaluation.
PLr''~NT?ED ACTN'ITIES
It is planned to start evaluation of the sugcsted mounting
procedure during the first week of March 64. Evaluation will cover:
1. Adequacy of the equipment.
?. Feasibility of the procedure.
To insure proper and adequate testing will require the use
of a Telepromter projector. The customer ha.s been contacted and arrange-
menu are being made to deliver such an item to the contractor's facility.
During the course of evaluation the Telepromter projector
will be looked a.t wi.th the aim of improving the air flow over the slide
during projection.
